Covid-19 Update

As of February 1st, 2021, in Brazoria County, there are 27,651 total reported cases, with 22,277 recoveries, and 3,653 active cases.

Residents are still advised to wear a mask in public and to use precautionary measures, such as regular hand-washing, social distancing, and getting tested after showing symptoms to help avoid the spread.

Covid-19 symptoms:

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

Per the CDC, this is not a complete list of possible symptoms as more is still being learned about the virus. Symptoms by begin within 2-14 days of exposure, ranging from mild to severe.
